My PayTM wallet amount was Rs.10000 which I tried to transfer to my bank account on 06/08/2017 with two transactions of Rs 5000 each but somehow because of some network issue transaction failed and there was no deduction from my wallet. But in reality money was credited in my bank account in two transactions with transaction ID-13251369462 (IMPS number -721821597264) and transaction ID-13251375322 (IMPS Number-721821597318). As amount was not debited from my PayTM wallet and money was transferred to my bank account due to some technical issue Money was transferred back to PAyTM with same IMPS numbers with extension 06/08 (indicates unauthorized transaction on 06/08/2017) i.e 721821597264-06/08 and 721821597318-06/08 on 9th of August 2017.
Till This I have no problem because PayTM has right to recover it’s money.
But real problem starts here PayTM blocked Rs. 5149.86 from my PayTM wallet on 11th of August which he should not block as Bank has already reversed money to PayTM on 9th of August.
I aslo complained twice to PayTM customer care (reference No.-35945830 & 35805879) where they said that money is blocked against unauthorized transaction with transaction ID-13251369462 (IMPS number -721821597264). I told them that PayTM has already recovered it from my bank account on 9th of August against same transaction ID-13251369462 (IMPS number -721821597264) and if they have recovered it from my bank account how PayTM can block my money from my PayTM wallet ? Then they asked me to submit my bank statement as PDF as a proof of transactions & I submitted my bank statement and image of PayTM wallet transaction as a proof and asked PayTM to unblock Rs.5149.86.
Then they gave me another reply, “I have checked the status of the transaction. A transaction was initiated from your account for transfer to bank of Rs. 5149.86 under the transaction ID 13251369462 on 2017-08-06. The amount was however returned to your wallet due to delay in confirmation. Since the transaction was successful later, the amount was reversed and the transaction was processed. If you have any issue in this please send us the update bank statement till date for the same bank account” which does not clarify anything & if transaction was successful then why it was not deposited to my bank account.
I also asked them to send me details (Proof) of transaction if it was successful they did not and kept replying same text every time “”I have checked the status of the transaction. I have the impression that PayTM knows that they have recoverd money two time one from my bank account on 9th of August and from my wallet on 11th of August for single unauthorized transaction but they don’t want to return either of them.
Key pont is that PayTM took transaction charges for the transaction which were not successful. And purposely blocked my wallet money.
I would demand to return my money with compensation as it all PayTM’s fault and they are not admitting it though I send them all the proof they asked for.
This is purely fraud from PayTM as they are not admitting their mistake.
Here also I am attaching my bank statement where my account number is clearly mentioned and also PayTM wallet details as image for proof.
I hope needful action will be taken.
