I have been using Paytm for smaller and occasional transactions. Recently I tried to transfer 5149.00 rupees to my ICICI bank account on 8th January 2018 at 18:17PM IST as I was in need of liquid cash money to pay my monthly loan EMI. The Paytm wallet transaction id # 17363127292, the transaction was showing up as PENDING but the above mentioned amount has been deducted from my Paytm account but never been credited to my ICICI Bank account. I tried reaching the Paytm customer care and help desk through the numbers (0120-3888388, 0120-4770770, 01133996699) which are provided in their website but the IVR response again provide the same above mentioned numbers, it provide the irrelevant options and even if they are selected, the call get automatically dropped. Have tried calling them for multiple times.
As per the google reviews on the paytm wallet, there are multiple cases where the money has been deducted from their Paytm account but have never been returned or responded till now.
Seeking help through Consumer Court is the only option I feel and lodging a complaint against the Paytm Banking services.
