Zomato order:1311941246, this order was delivered late and because of it i was late to my office, when i thought its too late and to cancel the order. They said there is no cancellation option. Further, when i asked them to provide me that chat copy, they said they do not have that feature either. My concern regardless of their policies is if there is no cancellation option then it means they can deliver the food at any time they want and consumers cannot do anything about it and they have to live with it, for order services cancellation is a consumer right, i understand its a food services but they even got a possibility to fraud consumers with delivery time, Zomato should have a order cancellation, swiggy has a option to cancel a order its a consumer right. Also if they cant provide the chat copy or chat ID to me this means they can fraud saying anything in the chat and can get away with it, they can say anything to a consumer and consumer has to face that fraud by them, there is nothing a consumer can do in these both cases. I truly hope Indian govt will protect consumer rights, i believe so, thank you for reading.
