I started my travel to Thailand on 2nd September 2018. On 1st September 2018 I activated international roaming on my phone by selecting a pack of I.N.R. 2500 all inclusive plus a charge of I.N.R. 149 in order to make and receive unlimited calls and data. Maybe due to some technical reason this did not get activated. On 4th September I re activated a pack of I.N.R. 500 per day by talking to Vodafone where I was to get unlimited calling and data. I was able to make calls but my data did not work and in my bill I am charged for the same.
Secondly I have a credit limit of I.N.R. 4000/- with the company, based on which I decided to take up international roaming as at any cost my bill will not cross I.N.R. 4000/- and choose to go ahead. Yesterday I received a message of having an outstanding of I.N.R. 8495 (approx) and my services were cancelled. The same action was to be taken when my usage reached my credit limit. A credit limit is set for every user to control the usage as per the amount one can afford. I did not ask for an upgrade nor requested to increase my limit. I claim my bill to stop at where my credit limit is set and am ready to clear a revised bill.
I want to file a complaint against Vodafone for misusing customer trust and making money in wrong ways.
