Text of Complaint by Nirav Rajput:

Facts of the case:

  1. I activated the international roaming package which costed INR 5,000 effective from August 1, 2017 over a call to Vodafone customer call on July 29, 2017. However, on the same day within an hour of this requisition, I again called vodafone Customer call and requested them not to activate this scheme. Vodafone agreed to this, however, there was no confirmation message received from Vodafone.
  2. After a month Vodafone issued an invoice, charging me the 5000 INR with applicable taxes.
  3.  I exchanged several emails with Vodafone executives time and again on different dates to tell them that this invoice is wrong and I have already deactivated the scheme. I further, told them that during the Month of August 2017, if I have used any services, please provide me the details and  I will be happy to pay the same.
  4. However, Vodafone did not agree with me and kept on offering me 50% discount on the total bill of INR 6,088 (with taxes).
  5. Since, I was out of India, My father had personally visited Vodafone customer gallery to sort the issue, but Vodafone has not accepted any submissions in this case.
  6. To add to the troubles, my number has now been deactivated on the pretest that I have a bill outstanding.
  7. I have also requested vodafone to check the call records dated July 29, 2017 to verify if I am stating the truth, but Vodafone has never taken the courtesy to verify their own records and is offering me a discount of 50% on a bill which is wrongly invoiced to me.
