Text of Complaint by Himanshu Gautam:

I would like to share my extremely unsatisfactory experience with the purchase of a Safari High Back Nylon Base Office Chair (Black & Grey), ordered from Wakefit. I placed my order on 7th May 2023. It was scheduled to be delivered to me by 11th May 2023. On 8th May I got a call from Wakefit regarding confirmation whether I want my chair to be delivered on 9th May, to which I didn’t confirm, then again the next day on 9th May I received a similar call which was for the delivery to be done on 10th May to which I confirmed. But to my surprise on one hand they are calling to deliver my product a day before the delivery date for which I was overwhelmed, but It soon turned out to be nothing but their advertising gimmicks. It didn’t bother me much as It was to be delivered on 11th May 2023 so I waited until that day but there was no update from Wakefit regarding my order, hence I checked their website and it was showing me that delivery will be getting delayed further and it will not be going to delivered to me on 11th May 2023. At last, I canceled my order on 11th May 2023, and it was showing that my amount will be refunded back in my account in 5-7 working days. Now it’s been more than 2 weeks as of today 26th May 2023, and I’ve contacted their customer support team 3 times in the last 2 weeks and each time they gave me assurance of getting the problem with my refund resolved within 24-48 hours but there comes no update from their side, it is only me who has to follow up with them and they give the same answer that they will get back to me in 24-48hours.

I’m not sure by when I will get my money back but it seems that Wakefit is not giving their buyers much clarity when it comes to refund or return of products. I am clueless about the status of my refund and would urge all customers to be careful with their promises and marketing plays.

  1. I purchased a sofa cum bed. Removed sofa cover and dry cleaned. Unable to place back the sofa cover. They closed the incident without any resolution.

    Extremely dissatisfied and non trust worthy brand.

    Poor customer service.

    This is only 3months old and I lose my money please refund or replace this product or atleast send someone to fix this back to the cover.
