Text of Complaint by Monit Gehlot:

I bought a bike from Suzuki in Nov’17. I have been getting ridiculous service since then. I would be told that the vehicle will not be delivered the same day due to lack of manpower. It happened twice in December of 2018 that I was refused service because of lack of necessary oils for service and once due to lack of manpower. I tried multiple service centre across Mumbai. Kaveri in Borivali West, Dolphin in Andheri East, Kiran in Goregaon West, but each of them had similar woes, they would not service the vehicle in time, they would make me wait after calling me that vehicle is done servicing and at time won’t do a couple of things mentioned in complain while creating the job card (like complaint of vibrations in the bike has been ignored since 2nd/3rd service and has repeatedly been labelled as normal functioning of bike). I had to replace the low beam lamp in 12 or 13 months of buying the bike, and less than 6 months after replacement, I’m again facing the same issue. I raised a complaint about it but they have not taken any action. Also, on 11th April ’19, my bike was detected to have a sensor issue, the part was ordered on the following day by the service centre. I’m yet to receive an update on that more than one and a half month later. I’ve taken efforts to follow up. I raised a complaint with Suzuki on 6th May regarding same and they promised 7-10 days. After 10 days they claimed 7-10 working days. After that deadline was also over, they promised 3 days on 22nd May and have yet not contacted me. This sensor (commonly called oxygen sensor in Fuel Injected bike) is the heart of the bike. It directly impacts the throttle response making the ride lot less smooth than it should be and reducing the mileage from 47kmpl to 40kmpl. Also, there was some warranty work that was carried out between 11th April to 26th April (they did not touch the vehicle for any repairs till 25th April, when I went to the service centre and got it done next day, clearly a case of negligence). During this warranty work, they carried fork alignment using lathe machine and less than 10 days later I had broken oil seal in right front suspension causing front brake failure which 2 of their mechanics were not able to notice in riding the bike and were casually passing it as lose brakes until they brought the vehicle to shop floor and I pointed them about the leak. I just need a peaceful smooth ride and a perfectly functioning bike. I have poured a lot of money, frequently irritating visits and time in trying to achieve that but I’m running out of patience and I blame both Suzuki and respective service centres for their respective roles in this.
