I had booked 5 rooms at hotel Park Palace hotel at Lachung,Sikkin vide ID -GLAR8410 on 11 th September,2019 for 23.12.19 to 25.12.19.The said hotel was one of the star hotels of Lachung with all amenities necessary in cold December weather. We had selected this hotel after thorough scrutiny because we are very keen on choice of location, size, and quality of the hotel. But, on 15th Dec I received a ph call from OYO stating that my booking at the said hotel is cancelled due to contract issues.I was offered the booking amount refund or booking in any other OYO hotel. It was a shock to our group of 11 people as we knew no good hotel was left at this eleventh hour The hotel 60097 Hill Hotel which was in no way comparable with Park palace. Now, I requested them to book some hotel of our choice, but they denied. Even Hotel Norling Zimkhang which was their enlisted one, was initially agreed but afterwards declined. Though we had booked this hotel through other operator for the same tenure. On 16.12.19 & 17.12,19 I had made numerous calls to OYO but each time I had to state the entire story , then they kept the calls on hold for 20-30 minutes on average for transferring to concerned dept but ultimately didn’t solve the issue making me exhausted of calling and mailing. Numerous mails were also exchanged but with no result of booking me the required hotel.Finally I had to quit and book through another operator cancelling the booking and seeking the refund of booking amount.
Till date after passing of more than 3 weeks I have not received the refund. I want to lodge complaint for harassing and totally ruining our tour programme.Also I want compensation for the inconveniences created followed by non copoeration.
