I booked a hotel room from paytm, payment gateway being cleartrip, on monday. I received the booking confirmation from paytm. When I contacted the concerned hotel next morning to find that there was no booking done. Since then it has been 5 days that I have been contacting paytm, cleartrip and the hotel to get the confirmation or refund.
It is highly preposterous for a customer to keep hanging between the service personnels. Had I wanted to travel at a short notice, they would have made a fool of me with this game of theirs. I would suggest customers to prefer MMT or direct hotel booking sites and not allow service portals to come between for better experience.
