Seems like ZOMATO is teasing us by making huge claims on their Non-Tolerance policies and themselves Violating these left right and centre.
Post bringing to their notice crappy food received from a 4.5 rated delivery kitchen, we pointed out the possibility of paid and fake reviews. With each passing day this Mumbai outlet gets 5-6 reviews (ALL 5-Star) from Reviewers located in Mumbai, Lucknow, Sonipat, Delhi, Chandigarh etc).
Upon digging deeper I prepared a chart on the 35 reviewers and the “Coincidence” of them reviewing the *SAME 6-8 outlets with 5 stars.* (All green boxes are “Reviewed”. The Columns are Names of Reviewers and the Rows are Various Food Outlets in Mumbai.
Ironically Zomato denies the possibility of fake and paid reviews and deletes 2-3 of them out of the 35 pointed out. When can we expect serious action, or we as Customers are Misled into ordering from outlets that reach 4.5 stars rating for the 120-150 reviews it managed by apparent dubious ways.

Has anything come of this? I recently noticed what seemed like very similar reviews. Then I went to another restaurant’s reviews and I saw the same photo!
Same, I found some reviews where a reviewer in one day review restaurant in Ghatkopar east, Mumbai locations and same day another review for another restaurant in delhi some cilty lines place, before this day there is also a comment for yet another restaurant in nagpur location
