Text of Complaint by Yashpalsinh Solanki:

I booked a bus ticket from PayTM with Order No. 8960351700 on 10th Aug 2019.
I even raised query on PayTM with Query Ref no. 135119281

I contacted PayTM help center on 11 Aug 2019 and wrote something like this.
My bus got cancelled midway just one hour after I boarded the bus. Bus depot counter and bus conductor told me to contact paytm for refund. They told that bus is stopped midway due to road blockage because of rain so bus isn’t updated as cancelled online.

Then they replied me on same day, “Greetings from Paytm! Thank you for contacting us and apologies for the inconvenience caused. We would like to inform you that as per your request raised against the Order 8960351700 our team is working to get a confirmation from the operator.
We request you to please give us 15 working days to work on the case and revert with a positive resolution. We seek your understanding and patience in this matter

And then again on 18 Aug 2019 they replied, “Greetings from Paytm! Thank you for contacting us and apologies for the inconvenience caused.
We would like to inform you that as per your request raised against the Order 8960351700 our team is working to get a confirmation from the operator. We request you to please give us 72 hours to work on the case and revert with a positive resolution. We seek your understanding and patience in this matter.

Then forget 72 hours, they didn’t reply till 27 Aug 2019.

Then on 27 Aug 2019 I contacted them wrote, “Hi, How much more time you need, You said that give us 15 days and It has already been 16 days without any resolution. I know very well that Bus and PayTM help center are open 24×7 then why so much delay?”

To which they replied, “Sorry to hear that. We are looking into this on priority.”

And then after several hours on 27 Aug 2019 they replied this, “Your request for full refund on journey date 2019-08-10 has been declined by Bus Operator.

We regret the inconvenience caused.

And then I contacted Bus Operator and they’re asking me for PNR Number and OB Number. I have PNR Number on my ticket but there’s no OB Number written on ticket.

So I again wrote them this,”I want OB Number, give me that. I’ll directly contact Bus Operator for the issue. If you won’t give me the OB Number I’ll file a case in consumer court, you can’t just fool and harass your paytm users. Mail me every detail about this booking including OB Number.”

To which they gave their robotic reply,” Your request for full refund on journey date 2019-08-10 has been declined by Bus Operator.
We regret the inconvenience caused.

Then I sent them this, ” You wrote that “You may reach Bus Operator for further clarification.” I asked them for refund and they’re requesting for OB Number which I don’t know, but you do. Send me the OB Number, I’ll no longer contact you.”

After that I haven’t got any response from PayTM till now.
