I am in United States for more than 6 months. I am keeping my prepaid Vodafone India number active but not using it for any calls/internet/outgoing messages. Initially I would be autodeducted with Rs 40-50 every month just to extend the monthly validity. This is the minimum monthly plan provided by VI.
Within the last 2 months, they started deducting Rs 128.
This month, they dedcuted Rs 99 to activate international roaming and Rs. 70 for using incoming on international roaming on 7th Sept.
I have my call logs and I didn’t talk to anyone on 7th. Further, the number they have in their data is my own. I can’t talk to my own number.
I have tried reaching out to them multiple times, but they are denying my refund.
I am not using this number at all but I want to keep it active since I’ll use it when I move back to India.
