Complaint against Dhani Loans & Services: Dhani increases its customer service team to 6500 people and promises to take remedial action

A number of complaints against Dhani Loans & Services about various issues. Dhani’s customer care service is very responsive and immediately provides remedial action.

Some users complained that their PAN Card details have been misused to seek loans by unknown 3rd parties on Indiabulls-owned Dhani Loans & Services platform.

 




Dhani’s customer care spokesperson told CNBC-TV18 that remedial measures have been taken including talking to all complainants & establishing if it is a case of identity theft.

The complaints have alleged that their PAN Card details are used by unknown people to avail loans via Dhani.

Some complain they’re facing show-cause notices by collection agents for loans they never took via Dhani. Credit scores impacted as credit reports list loans they had never availed as defaults

Dhani stated that it has come to their notice about a few cases where unscrupulous people have used other people’s PAN and thus credentials from credit bureaus to take a loan through the Dhani app.

He assured that they are rectifying complainants’ records in the credit bureaus immediately in case of identity theft

They have integrated with G-defence (a global security platform) to re-verify each device against a specific customer & PAN through various data-fields

He also stated that Dhani has increased its customer service team to 6500 people to attend to customer problems and will leave no stone unturned to mitigate any possibility of identity theft on our Fintech platform.

He also stated that Dhani has given small transaction finance loans to over 35 lakh people in the last 12 mths; 99.9% have gone to genuine people.

Industry has been facing individuals who try to defraud both, us companies and unsuspecting citizens, he added.
