I have ordered food on Zomato on 22.04.2019. I had an issue with the order and Zomato has initiated a refund on the same day and had provided me RRN 20190422111212801300168272529199455 as a reference to my refund.
However, the refund which should have been reflected back to my bank account within 4-5 business days is not done till date. On enquiring about the the reason for the delay multiple times, they have always complained that the payment has been reversed by the payment gateway.
I have requested them to credit the money as Zomato credits to avoid this problem. Denying to credit that way, they are not responding properly.
I have contacted the payment gateway (Google Pay); they have informed that they do not have any access to such information and requested to deal with the merchant.
On informing Zomato to deal with the issue from their end and acknowledge that the payment is pending through a mail, they have not only denied to accept through mail but also denied to resolve the issue with payment gateway.
Please resolve this issue and enforce stringent rules to deal with issues of this kind.Image Uploaded by Aditya Sreeram:
