Text of Complaint by Sreekanth Tanneru:

I have visited juhu pepperfry studio on 05.06.2022 for purchase of bed and sofa set(3+1+1) the executive there showed the products and explained the differences in their website and told that tomorrow offer is going to end and you will not get at this price and if you order from pepperfry studio you will get at a better price than you order yourself through online. Next day when the executive called me i have informed to call him in the evening on 06.06.2022 to place an order but in which he has placed an order for the bed otherthan the one that we have selected which I came to know through the order confirmation email received from pepperfry since the one i selected and the one he has ordered are appearing in their website with same name and same price it became difficult to understand and the order was placed by the studio people and send us the payment link to make the payment. With in an hour or so I realised that he has ordered the wrong item i have sent him the message through WhatsApp for which there is no reply. When I send multiple messages requesting to change the item that we have selected he said it is not possible and if we cancel we will not get the full amount i.e., 2.5% cancellation charges are applicable. I also informed him along with this i have also ordered for another sofa set (3+1+1) of rs.84333/- through studio only. At the time of visit to studio their staff told that only wood is available after payment bed need to be manufactured and get it delivered for which it takes 20-25 days. The one which they have ordered and the one i have selected are from same seller/manufacturer also I requested them to convey to the seller about the same for change in product for which they are reluctant. I told them that I didn’t want to cancel the order or refund i only request to despatch the items that i have selected but they are not doing that nor refunding the full amount. When I raised the complaint multiple time with their customer care either through email and over phone they are telling that fault is at their studio side and if they cancel the order at their end they can waive the charges and refund the amount. Where as studio people not acting to the instructions of their company customer care representatives. Kindly assist me in this regard
