Text of Complaint by M Joseph:

Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing this mail with immense mental agony and deep anguish caused by vodafone, its irresponsible store staffs, managers and its cheap collection agents who behaves inappropriately with me and family members.

I am a genuine vodafone customer for more than  1o years holding 3 connections operating without any single payment or any other issue. in the month of feb18 my i was charged extra for the same level of internet usage as in the past.

when enquired with vodafone store for correcting the bill that has been charged extra which is not applicable as per my tariff, i was told that the plan was changed. while i have not requested for plan change i asked the store staff in velachery, chennai as to how they changed the plan.

They said that there was a marketing call about the new plan and basis which it was changed. I told them we receive 100s of marketing calls from various service providers in a day and when it is not confirmed how did they change and asked for proof where we had confirmed for change of plan.

The store staff said they will provide voice recording a asked me to wait, but even after 2 months in spite of my repeated follow ups they were not able to produce the evidence. Further my march bill was also charged extra and further my connection was cut after march bill.

Since the store staffs behave in differently with irresponsible answers and my connection was also cut without notice i asked for revised bill so that i can pay for my actual usage and close the issue.

But till date no one from vodafone care has cared to speak to me to resolve the issue instead their collection agents take all menial methods to reach to me and my family members asking for payment of the full bills. I have told them many times i am ready to pay for the actual usage as per the plan opted by me and to give the revised amount, but they were not ready to give that.

All of sudden on 1st july 2018 a mail was sent to my old office email from vodafone stating that they have waived off 50% and asking me to pay. i visited vodafone store to pay the amount though it was higher than actual usage but they said that no such waiver was given and asked me to speak to phone number mentioned in the mail.

when i contacted them this week they said they are agents and they are not dealing my details any more.

I humbly request your goodself to enquire this fraudulent marketing and billing process of vodafone and ask them to provide me the revised bill as per my original plan and help me close this account with vodafone. My email id is mjojoe67@gmail.com.
