Text of Complaint by SONI VIVEK:

I am a postpaid customer of Vodafone Kerala circle. MY NUMBER 9746376379. Since the Vodafone system was down on 4th and 5th March 2018 I wasn’t able to do an add-on pack. So on the 6th March, I called up the customer care and added a 1 GB add-on pack.

While checking My Vodafone App on 8th March I understood 5 GB was added to my pack. But I received a message from Vodafone confirming only about the 1 GB pack.

So I called the customer care again to say about this added extra 4 Gb. They said it will not be reflected on the bill. On 11th March the bill was generated in which 2 Rs 450 pack was added on and its GST adding it to 1000RS was charged extra. My bill was 1770.

Even then I called the customer care multiple times to complain about this. ALL they say was it will be taken care in 48 hours. but nothing was done. On 29th March I went to Vodafone Store Kannur, Kerala.

The manager over there promised to waive off 1000 rs in the next 48 hours and asked me to pay the remaining bill as 29th was the due date. I paid 770rs that day. No reply from him.I even tweeted @VodafoneIN . Got a message it will be taken care. Again nothing is being done.

I get multiple calls a day from Vodafone saying if I don’t pay 1000rs. They are going to terminate my connection. Today(3rd April) when I called the Kerala nodal office number. The executive spoke back as if it was my mistake Since it’s a big amount it will take time to process.

I am unable to PORT also because of this unsettled money. I badly want to retain this number as I have been using it for more than 10 years.
