Tata Cliq didn’t deliver my order for 1 week and then initiated a refund.

Text of Complaint by Aadarsh Lalchandani:

I ordered a Fila shoe(Order ID: 127068438) on Saturday, 25th June 2023. I had paid Rs. 1063.05 at the time of booking. At that moment, I was shown that the order would be delivered by Friday 30th June. On Thursday, 29 June, I receive a message from XpressBees(Tata Cliq’s Delivery Partner) about my order to be delivered on the same day. I was waiting eagerly to receive the shoe and was available at home to receive the product. After some time of receiving that message, I got another message from XpressBees that said my delivery was cancelled because nobody was available to take the order while this was completely incorrect! I received no phone call to ask if I’m available to take the delivery or asking me where to deliver the order just like a normal online order is delivered. I headed over the Tata Cliq app immediately and had a chat with the executive about the situation so he re-arranged the delivery for me. Next day on Friday, 30th June, I receive the exact same message from XpressBees about my order to be delivered and the same non delivery message was sent to me after some time. Again, I let that Tata Cliq team know of this issue and they raised a complaint within the team and rearranged my order AGAIN. The chat person assured me that my problem would be solved within 3 business days and asked me to wait till Monday, 3 July. On saturday, 1 July, I received the same message from XpressBees and the issue remains unchanged. I requested in chat to generate a callback as I was fed up typing my issues down every time i faced one. Tata Cliq’s chat person kept insisting me to type my messages in chat only but eventually they arranged a callback and I told my concern to the team on phone. The team said that they had already raised a complaint and asked me again to wait till Monday 3 July. I waited for the day and the same delivery scam happened on Monday 3 July as well! I called the team right away and spoke to the senior executive named “Shawaz”. Mr. Shawaz asked me to WAIT FOR ONE MORE DAY. I was furious talking to him and I said that if I didn’t receive my order on Tuesday 4 July then I’d want my refund and a compensation of my time worth Rs. 1000 for my time and patience wasted. Mr. Shawaz noted my concern. On Tuesday 4 July, neither a message was received from XpressBees nor my order was delivered. The day of Tuesday was passed unattended. On the morning of Wednesday 5 July, I received a message on WhatsApp by Tala Cliq that my refund had been initiated and Rs. 1063.05 had been credited in my bank account. I was not very happy with the service of Tata Cliq. I made a call to the team and spoke to another senior representative named Ms. Rufsa. She was aware of my discussion with Mr. Shawaz. When I asked her why did I receive a refund for the order, she said that my order was canceled. I asked for the compensation and she said that the company does not have any policies for compensation for the customers.

This whole experience felt like Tata Cliq never even helped me and they were total fraud. I’m attaching the acreenshots of the all message received. Please help me get the compensation so that the firm learns a lesson to help future customers.
