Swiggy – order cancelled by a service executive and money not refunded

Text of Complaint by Vinothkumar Sundaramurthy:

My order I’d 91978614800 has been cancelled by the service delivery and the entire cost of my order is taken as cancellation cost. The reason given to me is I did not pick the call but I did not recieve any call from anyone on my order.

I tried calling swiggy service person but call went unresponsive when I chatted with swiggy they said the order is canceled as I did not answeer a call. I have given my address and map details for my delivery, I did not recieve service person at my door nor neither did not recieve a phone call from any one.

When I ordered again from the same Restaurant, I have got the food delivered with out a need for any call

This is very suspicious, two different order numbers were processed differently and the fist instance were cancelled citing a reason which is not required in the second order. I have lost 432 rupees on first order, I feel let down by swiggy and this is a brutal loot of my money.

I request swiggy to investigate and return my money immediately

I have been a customer of swiggy for very long time and this cancelation without any refund is unacceptable. This is very harsh for me to experience after the pandemic and forces me to rethink ordering food online.
