Dear sir/ madam
Good day
I placed an order worth Rs. 2100, with Swiggy (from KFC, Ranchi) and the order number is 91534979054. This was ordered for my sister staying in Ranchi.
My sister’s mobile number was given in the order and the delivery boy (named Rajesh Kumar) called her and she gave exact location of the delivery. The delivery boy told her that he will call her as soon as he reach the location. He didn’t call back and my sister tried calling him several times, but his number was always busy. Even I tried calling his number to give the location, it was busy all the time. I got calls from Swiggy call centre and I gave this feedback to them and told them to ask their delivery boy to pick the call so that we can give him the exact location.
We kept on trying to talk to the delivery boy and his number was busy. Then I got a message from Swiggy saying that the order is cancelled and charged the entire order amount as cancellation fee.
I registered a complaint with Swiggy in support@swiggy.in and they gave a reply as below
“Since you are eligible for a One-time cancel fee reversal, we have already initiated a refund of Rs 700/- to your source account. It would reflect within 5-7 business days. With reference to your concern regarding order no# 91534979054, we regret to inform you that we will be unable to resolve the issue in your favor”
I would like to proceed with filing a complaint against Swiggy so as to get the full amount refunded.
