Hello,

I am a tata sky subscriber with the RMN 9769774011 in the name of Laxmi Murarka.

I had subscribed to Platinum HD Pack which is the highest pack with all channel and also Marathi & Gujarati regional channels.  But as per the TRAI policy, TATA sky company changed my pack without any call or discussion with me.  I don’t know they have changed my pack to whcih new pack.  But currently i am unable to get many of the channels which were available earlier to me and also my regional pack is not active.

when i call the customer care, there is nobody to attends the call and only music is heard.

when your executive calls me for a service call, they are absolutely arrogant and rude.  Also they have a standard answer that “they cannot do anything and cannot help to get all the required channels”.  They also don’t arrange a call back neither from any senior nor from the concerned department.  The only answer is i need to do it online but internet access is not available for me as i keep travelling for my work.  This email is also being sent from somebody else’s computer on request.

what type of service is this where on one is ready to help ?

how can you stop the channels for which i had done the payment just because some policy is changed ? and if the policy is changed, then don’t you need to ensure that you change the pack after discussion with the customer OR ensure that the pack being changed by you has all the channels subscribed by the user earlier ?

Is this not a fair expectation ?

I expect that this complaint will be taken seriously and my issue will be resolved with immediate effect. Please understand that Tata is brand name which carries a meaning and word of mouth can kill any big giant as well in today’s consumer world.

  1. Hi, as per TRAI direction, following the new Tariff order, service providers will migrate their customers to the best fit plan carrying their key current channels. Each customer has the option of changing their channels and packs at any point in time, before or after the migration. For this, please download the Tata Sky App or visit http://www.mytatasky.com and go to Manage Pack, or visit your nearest dealer.
