Text of Complaint by Anjali Tanwar:

Hi ,
I am Anjali Tanwar. I need to register a Complaint again this agency( Royals Club International). In Nov, 2022 when me and my husband went for vacation in Macleod Ganj, one of a Guy came to us on 06.11.2022 while we were exploring local market of that place and asked us to scratch a Card for him, later he said that we have won a price and needs us to come with him at his location where we have to listen a one hour presentation from their representatives and then we can go after collecting our gift. While on way he told us that its 10th anniversary of Royal club and you guys are lucky to me and all the bluff. Later once we reached there two persons (Shobha, Subordinate and Gyandeep, their presentor) just went on briefing us about all the Royal club policies and advantage and took almost 3 Hours to explain and convince us. They offered us a hotel stay package for a period of 10 years amounting for approx. Rs. 250000/-, but we told them that we cannot afford this type of package as we have not any savings and we have other financial matters to look upon but they kept negotiating and finally made some unknown package for us whose terms and conditions were not provided by them in written as they said it was just a trial package for us. Finally, we took a package of Rs. 34000/- from their Unit head (named Rahul Yadav) and they planned to deduct 22000/- sum of money in 12 installments and assured us that we can pay remaining 12000/- amount in 2-3 months. We also told them that we are planning a trip to Kerala in Feb, 2023. They assured us that they by themselves provide us all the bookings at that time at 4/5 star hotels.
We were following them since dec, 2022 for our bookings for kerala but they continuously gave us excuses in starting that they hadn’t received itinery for hotel bookings yet. After that when we asked their booking operator (named Jayshree) for our bookings, she started saying that first pay your pending dues then they will proceed for the bookings. We assured them that we will clear our dues before going for the trip as it was not told to us that we will not get any booking until we pay all the amount to the company during taking memebership by the representatives. Later, when we asked them about the accomodations they were going to provide us for the trip, first, they mailed a list in which our three destinations were not even included, later they mailed 2-3 hotels for bookings that are below average and not up to the mark as we were promised while getting the membership. yesterday, they mailed us that they cannot provide us booking at every location. Now, in this situation, when I am requesting them to cancel my membership if they cannot provide us bookings they are saying that payment is non-refundable.
They said we can’t stop the payments and if you don’t want to use the policy, but amount is not refundable. As I see now there are various complaints registered against this already. But can you guys help us out to retain our money. Thats the only request we have or at least stop this EMI’s which we are paying with no benefits around.
