I have ordered food on zomato at kovai virudhu hotel. That hotel accepted the order at 2.30pm we made call to delivery boy at around 3pm he said that the restaurant delays the order but when we called the restaurant they said that food has been delivered to the pick boy, when I asked pick up boy about my order he said that it is 13 kilometer distance so he said that he will be discussing with the zomato customer care and I approched the customer care they said the distance is 13 kilometer so we won’t deliver. If they can’t deliver then why should they took order and without my knowledge they cancelled my order. If customer cancel the order they charges the penalty .what if the company cancel the order? Do company will pay me penalty for that order. Atlast with out getting food I were mentally and physically disturbed with hungry. So kindly take necessary action or I will lodge a complaint in consumer court regarding this issue
