Text of Complaint by Jayshree Ghungre Tompe:

I recently had a purchase from paytm. Below is my order details.

SV Tada collection, sold by Ritu designs; order number: 9863417206: Price: 6740/-

I and my husband have had good purchaser from paytm I had taken Television, Washing Machine, Microwave oven, mobile phone and many more products.

Recently I had purchased a product on 09 Dec.2019. Upon receiving of the order I felt that item is not worth against the money. The cost of item was Rs. 6740 however the product does not look worth of money, so immediately I had requested for the return.

After 2-3 days I have received email stating your account has been flagged for abusing the return policy and temporarily restricted.

I had a long telephonic discussion with the customer executive and it’s superior. They told that your account has been restricted and please wait for two more days we will release the flag and temporary restriction of your account.

I asked why account is restricted then customer care told that you had abuse the policy of return means your returns are more. Then I check my number of returns then there are only two returns and more than 10 purchases.

I asked to let us know what is abusing return policy then executive told that we do not have abusing policy however we have only oral policy not in written. It means if I ordered any product we have to buy it and if we return it then they paytm will restrict account and flag it. THIS IS NOT FAIR DEAL.

Respected sir, it is already more than 18 days gone the product is still with me. I am really wasting my daily time with talking with customer care executives and their false & fake promises.

I request respected sir, please take a necessary action and understand my situation.

Dear Paytm,

In continuation with the trailing email.

I told you I have logged your complaint in consumer court.

Today I have received a call from number +91 6289732025 saying it’s a call from Paytm saying we are requesting you to please take your complaint back from consumer court. We are returning your refund kindly hold the line for a minutes. Then immediately he made two transactions of Rs 10,000 from my and my husband’s account. As we come to know its fraud call, we immediately contacted paytm for confirmation and cyber police. Paytm told we had not made any call. After entire conversation we come to know that,

  1. Either paytm had made this call or
  2. Paytm has leaked my complaint information to fraudulent to make this call.

I do understand that this call was arranged by paytm only so that in future nobody can fight with Paytm.

I logging your complaint again in further level until I get justice.
