I sent an amount to a contact per below details. The contact never accepted he has received the money.
I made a complaint to paytm which yielded below reply:
We would like to inform you that instead of merge you have claimed your phone 8273850306, you might have skipped the security question or answered wrong to the security questions. Please share the below details of your old account so that we can transfer the amount:
1. Debit card/ Credit card statement in PDF format reflecting at least one transaction done at Paytm

I responded with the required details and then I received below reply:
Ref : 18264964 Your Query with Paytm Care (SF)
We have understood your all of concern that your transaction payer to payee is not getting processed against transaction ID-5356394501 We would like to inform you as per our navigation that now payer to payee transaction against transaction ID- 5356394501 of INR 1578 is showing successful at our end you can contact your payee to ensure about this transaction.(From: Prempal Singh ,To: 8273850306)
but my contact is not accepting he has received the money.
Where is the money?
Why has not it come back to m wallet??
If transferred to the contact, why paytm is not able to enable me to prove to the contact that he is lieing???
what else can I do to recieve my money back????
Cann’t paytm, on my written request revert my money back to me fully on my responsibility?????
