Text of Complaint by Vasudha Iyer:

I got an email from PayTM saying my account registered with the Wallet using XXX number and XXX email ID has attempted to create a new registration. I was shocked to see that the mobile number shown on this mail is not mine, but the email ID is mine. I am already registered on PayTM using my email ID and mobile number. So I am surprised to see that PayTM has accepted registration of another unknown number with my email ID. After requesting several times to delete my account, the customer care executives said that as a policy they cannot delete accounts. So the only option was to block the account. It has been 48 hours and since I made multiple requests to block my account. But PayTM has taken no action. The customer service has no provision to even check and share how many numbers are registered on an email ID. This I learnt from an executive I spoke to. My account and profile is under threat thanks to PayTM’s faulty redressal forum.
