Text of Complaint by Amit Bansal:

I have shared below email to Zomato.

It is ridiculous the way your team is dealing with your customers. I have been using your services since long and never expected such kind of behaviour from a company like Zomato.

I have ordered a meal from Zomato which was successfully accepted by you, which is a Contract as per “Indian Contract Act” and by not delivering the meal you have breached the contract. Now I have full right to take the matter to the Courts. I don’t have any problem with such issues but the way you people have dealt with it is seriously unacceptable.

I have ordered something and in return the delivery was not made and moreover as guided by your team it will take 4 – 5 days to get the money back. It is really surprising that it was a mistake from your end but I had to suffer for a mistake which was completely committed by you people. It was a festival day and a wish from my child to have “Dosa” on that night but due to you people I was unable to fulfill a small wish of my child. I could have ordered it from somewhere else too but due to your behaviour my mood was totally off.

I was already upset that day because my wife was also hospitalised and due to your so called “kind services” & “Diwali Gift” you people had just harassed me like anything.

Moreover, your team was behaving like they are doing some favour on me by refunding MY MONEY BACK.

All I want now is that I want to talk with your CEO and make him aware of how his team is dealing with his clients. My child had to sleep without fulfilling his small festival desire of having a DOSA. Money is not a big deal but the way you people had dealt with was seriously hurting. I had requested your team to arrange a call with some senior person but it was also not arranged and neither any satisfactory response was provided, hence now please arrange a call with CEO of your company or else I will have to submit all the documents to the Consumer Forum so that no one else has to suffer from you people.

I will be forced to post all the documents to the social networking websites as well so that other people can be notified of how you are dealing with your customers.
