Yesterday I ordered food from your app and order was accepted by both Parties. After waiting for more than 40 Min, I got a small update on your app that order has been cancelled. First of all who has given Zomato a rights to cancel my order without sharing any kind information to me. And if you guys are cancelling any order there should be call from you guys providing the better reason about the cancelling the order. Now this has happened at 11PM, at this time most of the stores will not accept the order, so in this case what you will suggest what should I would be doing it? ur answer will be to order from other restaurant, but those restaurant also not accepting the order from which I usually order and if they accept it then also it will take another 1hour to deliver the food. So ideally it will be 12AM in that case to have my dinner, is this the good time to have dinner sir please explain.
Also I got the update from restaurant that order was ready and it was handed over to delivery guy, but because it was not updated on portal some good guy from call center team thought of cancelling the order. Not sure who gave authority to Zomato to perform any kind of action on behalf of me.
I will get the refund of the amount which I had paid yesterday, but paying the refund will be best solution you have? who will take the responsibility of this kind of mess which is happening now very frequently from apps.
This is usual happen to those user who is not a Zomato pro user. So ideally this is the sign that I need to register to Zomato Pro to get the food delivery in proper time.
