In a freelancer website I came across a typing job. Company name was hyvebooks and they claimed to be based in US. They contacted me through telegram and sent the work need to be done. 70 pages in 7 days. I completed the typing work and sent it to them via email. Then they asked me to submit bank details for my payment. After that I received an email that as they do transfer if from a bank from US I need to pay transferring amount of 11$ also provide my nationality proof. Over telegram I was provided with a gpay number to which I paid the amount. Post that they blocked me in telegram. Then I contacted the number to whom I paid the amount in gpay. He’s not denying his name as well as he’s denying that he never received any amount though I sent him screenshot of the payment as well as his name which I got detected in gpay as well as Truecaller.
