Hi, I went to one of the airtel stores in bangalore. The address of the store is : No 27 Opposite BIMAL MARUTI AUTO AGENCY WHITE FIELD MAIN ROAD MAHADEVPURA POST B, MAHADEVPURA, Karnataka 560048. When i told them that i want to port my existing Tata Docomo number to Airtel, they started telling me that I’ll have to do a minimum initial recharge of Rs. 500 through their store. After reading about it on the internet, i told them that their is no rule like this. I can recharge my number with whatever plan i choose. Then, they told me that in that case, you cannot port your number to Airtel.
