I booked my GoFirst flight (G8-2509) on MakeMyTrip platform on 21st March 2023. I received a message from GoFirst on 19th May 2023 that flight has been cancelled and I will recieve my refund accordingly. From then I am following up with MakeMytrip and GoFirst team through phone call and email but not recieveing any proper update on refund and I did not recieve the refund till today, 4th September 2023.
I am wondering, we should have controlling authority who should monitor such incidents and penalise them. MMT is not helpful as they say, chasing with GoFirst and it is already 6 months over and waiting for refund. How can they keep our hard earned money and dont have any fear of government and controlling authority.
