Text of Complaint by Rushikesh Ravindra Kasar:

I subscribed to LivPure’s rental water purifier subscription on 11/07/2023 by paying deposit of 1499 and monthly rental charges of Rs. 349. They installed a used and faulty water purifier at my home with serial no. D8JW92D1000976 as appears on LivPure smart Mobile app after I login. profile is registered with mo.no. 7378888119. I informed them at time of installation about the defect in the cover of the purifier to which they responded in an irresponsible manner. On 22/01/2024 upon checking the cover, i found insects floating on the water storage tank of purifier which possibly entered into it as the cover was not able to close owing to the defect which was brought into notice to livpure’s engineer while installation and many times afterwards through there customer helpline. I raised a request immediately on 22nd January in the Livpure app informing them about the incident which was canceled by them on 23rd jan 2023 without any justification or action on it . On contacting their customer care support i was informed that the technician will come on 27th of January to fix the problem but no one showed up. We raised requests multiple times in between and afterwards but no response were given by LivPure’s representatives except there false promises that they have appointed there technician to attend the issue.
Myself and family belongs to pure vegetarian group of people and these insects in our drinking water which we might have swallowed unintentionally, deeply destroyed and hurt our emotions and religious beliefs. along with that we suffered from diseases due to drinking polluted non potable water from malfunctioning water purifier for last few months. from 22nd Jan 2024 to till date we have opted out for drinking bottled mineral water sold in retail stores which costing us additionally along with annual subscription fees paid to LivPure. We have been harassed mentally and physically directly and indirectly by the irresponsible behavior of LivPure and want immediate action from LivPure to address the issue along with compensation of Rs. 50,000/- for the additional expenditures, trauma and suffering caused to my family.
