Text of Complaint by Prabhat Gupta:

I am from India. I have purchased an hard drive order #407-5784009-3954745. I got the parcel fully packed but inside, it did not have the hard disk, instead it was having a piece of card board. Luckily I record video of every unboxing so I have the video for this as well which I am attaching to this email. Please review the same.
When I did not receive what I ordered, I escalate this case and it was escalated to your investigation team. Your delivery boy came to check for it and I informed him about the issue. He checked everything and told me that he agrees that the parcel was not delivered so he will update the same and I will get a new product or refund as per the investigation decision. I said okay.
Later I found he falsely updated wrong status and mentioned that correct product was delivered. I called him to ask why he did that so told me that if customer complains about missing parcel, the delivery boy has to suffer for it.
I said its not my problem. I am paying 50% of salary to save you or your job will not work for me. I will also file a police complain if it will be necessary against him to update incorrect details.
Then I talked to investigation team and the person who answered said that investigation is closed and they can not do anything further. They simply stole almost 17k from me. It is unacceptable for a middle class person in any situation. Then she said sorry she cant do anything and just disconnected the call. I guess a customer service representative should not avoid a customer like this and hung up.
I was so disappointed with this kind of treatment so I posted the video on facebook and requested a solution. Someone commented on my video with a link to provide details of order. I submitted it and the investigation was again in process with you. Now, I want to know what is the status? Am I going to get a refund or not? Or do I have to go to grievance process or consumer court now?
Every time when I reply to the email I received from social media team, a new person replies back every time with a common predefined email. It also says that someone personally monitoring this and I dont know who that person is. I am getting no where. Please suggest me what should I do now?
It was last day of return request on September 16th so I tried to contact social media team to know what should I do but they again copied pasted the same canned email. So I had no choice and I requested a return for that product so that I can send that empty box to you.
When delivery boy came in to pick the order, he refused to collect it. He said he can not take an empty box. I said this is what you delivered at first place. He said contact customer care but I can not pick it.
I am very disappointed the way Amazon is treating me this time. I am a customer for years and never had such disappointment before. Its so hurting emotionally and mentally too.
Please help to resolve this issue or reply me with the email address of your grievance department so that I can escalate it there.
