This was the mail i sent to Vodafone:
Dear Sir / Madame,
I was surprised to see my bill of Rs : 6970.21 for the particular mobile number (9433080000).
And then I called up the call center, I was zapped to hear that my international roaming services were on, now let me make this clear to you here for which I should actually take Vodafone to the concerned court of law.
Now here is my grievance, I had gone to Thailand last year and activated my International Roaming and taken a pack along to which you can check your records, on my return I deactivated my International Roaming services, I don’t understand why was it still active and above that I was paying the charge for International Roaming all these months without even being aware of it.
And let me tell you that I have always paid the payments from my Vodafone App, and even there on the monthly charges it no where mentioned that my International Roaming was active which is absolutely wrong.
And secondly let me tell you that Iam using my other Vodafone number 9830559999 to which you can verify I always get that number activated to International Roaming as when I travelling overseas and even this time when I was travelling to Europe I had got that number activated therefore there was no need for me to active International Roaming on 9433080000, and on this Europe trip of mine I only used to switch on my mobile where ever the wifi network was available as I am sure you are aware that wifi services in Europe are available almost every where and is free of charge, so to check my messages on whatsapp i used to use it, totally unaware that my international roaming was active without my knowledge.
And you can also verify from your systems that when ever I have taken my other number (9830559999) on International Roaming i have always deactivated the International Roaming services on my return.
So I would request your good selves to kindly look into the matter urgently and reverse the charges of the international roaming charge i have been paying all these months and also reverse the charges that I have been billed for my last cycle.
