I went to a Cafe called ”cafe MRP” at Connaugt Place, New Delhi yesterday i.e 23 March 2019. I ordered liquor and food but when it was time to pay the bill they has put a service charge of 10%. I told them to remove that as it is on the discretion of the customer to which Mr. Dubey working there replied me that we will not remove the service charge as we have written it on the entrance. On telling him that there can be a legal action taken against your restaurant he told me to do anything I want but he will not remove the charge at any cost. My bill was for ₹1997 including the service charge.
