I am Devendra Pandey , a victim of the fraud incidence happened on 23rd March 2019 through OLX app.
I wanted to purchase vehicle and searched over OLX, where I found 3 vehicles and I quoted my price, I found vehicle Jupiter for 26800 on Vikas Patel account. I quoted 20000 and I got message on OLX to call and chat whatsup on 9351705331. The person Vikas Patel was telling himself as a Army man. So I started chatting and talking with full respect and politefull manor.
First of all he asked to pay initial amount on his army office number, a/c xxxx xxxx xxxx 1402, on Google UPI

With amount 5000 to dispatch but I told him over call that currently I don’t have 5000 I have only 1500 rs in my account so what can I do then he told me okay no worry you pay whichever amount you have currently I paid him 1000rs for vehicle. He asked me address and ID proof as adhaar and pan card which I sent him. He also sent me his Army Canteen ID, Adhaar card, Indian Union Driving License which I believed as a valid identity of seller and I sent amount.
He sent me the transport army receipt in reply.
In between we have lot’s of telephonic conversation because i guess that I am trapped why is asking only 5k in advance and told him will give remaining amount after delivery he denied and continously chasing me for advance amount I am denied for paying in advance.
After 6 hours around, 7 PM delivery person contacted for the remaining amount payment as delivery challen was with red mark. So I contacted ‘Vikas’ for detailing and confirmed the situation and paid remaining amount 9000.
After few minutes, delivery man again called and started demanding about remaining amounts to fulfill procedures again I refused.
Meanwhile I was searching the whole process of vehicle transfer district to district and found RC, insurance and RTO process.
- Suddenly Vilas called me for RTO amount as he is unable to pay this much amount and was showing frustrated and saddened, and was starting sware of army uniform frequently and talking about army..
I searched a lot on internet and found already complaints on the name Vikas Patel for different fraud cases regarding OLX sell.
In this case I got blackmailed and paid.
I have all proofs of payments made ON Google UPI vikaspatel3571@oksbi to the number 9351705331.
Please help me to get my amount 1000 in fraud and blackmailing.
Bro I am too has been duped by this vikas patel of ₹3100 today
I was duped by this same person today
Same happened with me today was duped by 2000 any idea how and where we can complain
now uses number 83494 74226. also involved in scam, this man identified himself as Anand 8486232933
