placed an order on zomato app for Rs 302. After placing order I found that location shown on map is incorrect. So I sent message to zomato as soon as order is placed, that location showing on map is incorrect and sent them my detailed address for delivery.
I got response that the message will be sent to the delivery guy.
After 30 minutes I get a call from delivery boy that the location is incorrect and actual destination is 2km away so I can not deliver the parcel.
After this I called customer care asking that I have already told them the location is incorrect.. But their rude customer care representative named Utkarsh tells me that if I want my order delivered I have to pay extra 30 Rs to delivery boy.
Even that’s not my mistake.. I tell him OK I will pay extra money to delivery guy but please deliver me order.
After this I get call from delivery guy that your order is cancelled by zomato customer care and he will not deliver food.
Again I call customer care to tell them that our discussion was nothing about cancelling the order and I was ready to pay extra money.
But again the rudeness of customer care representative.. He replied your order is cancelled you will not get refund and we can not do anything.
This is why I feel cheated by the company as I never asked to cancel order and was ready to pay extra money. Still they cancelled it and not refunding my money.
I have learnt my lesson of ordering online food.. Which I will not do again.. I just want my money refund.
