Text of Complaint by Ramesh Mehta:

This is with regard to our membership with Club Mahindra. We subscribed to Club Mahindra membership and paid the token money of INR 201,100/- as follows:

Through cheque – INR 161,100/- August 29, 2017
Through credit card – INR 40,000/-

The final payment towards the membership was debited from my savings bank account on August 29, 2017. As per the terms and conditions of the membership, a member can withdraw his membership within 15 days of final payment.

Due to misleading facts and incomplete information regarding features of the membership, we decided to withdraw the membership and sent an email of withdrawal on 30.08.2017 to the Club mahindra member’s relations department.

As per the policy requirements, we had also sent the self-attested copy of cancellation application within 15 days via speed post to their below offices as on dates mentioned:

As per your policy terms, in case of cancellation of membership the entire amount has to be refunded within 90 days and the same should have been refunded to us latest by December 1, 2017. But the same was processed as below

In savings bank a/c, amount of INR 161,100/- was credited on January 31, 2018

In credit card, an amount of INR 40,000 was credited on January 22, 2018

  1. It is unfair trade practice and gross violation.
    You should file Consumer caSe in Consumer forum. Earlier send legal notice to company along with cc to branch manager,MD
    You have right to get the interest .
