Text of Complaint by Parkash Kumar Thapa:

Sir/ma’am,
I ordered a drill machine on 30 August 2021 but it was delivered in a poor packaging with missing parts and damaged case of drill bits. I tried for replacement but the Amazon offered refund (the product was out of stock when I checked the possible reason). They promised to pick up the product from the delivered address but didn’t Picked up. I called them and they promised next day pick up but again nothing happened.
I kept waiting for more days and then contacted them but they told me that due to some unknown reasons your product could not be picked up but we will pick it up. Then I offered them some pick up point of their own choice where I can deliver it so that my refund could be done smoothly but they refused by saying that we don’t have such pick up point.
I waited for some more days but nothing happened. Then I contacted them again and same excuses were given to me and then they told me that it’s better to self return the product on my own. I told them that I don’t have any idea about courier but they said it’s very simple because we will provide you one mail with all details and you just have to take the print of it and paste in on parcel and send it my courier.
They sent me an email with two boxes to be cut and pasted (one self declaration and other having space for self address along with printed Amazon address). I agreed and sent tried to follow the mail instructions by trying to send it via ems speed post because it was the preferred method in mail. But post office refused to deliver such products. Then somehow I found a courier named shree maruti courier service and through that I send the product and contacted Amazon for refund but they told me to contact when the product reaches them. I again waited for few days but the courier was shown to be on hold when I tracked it. On contacting courier service they told me that neither the package had department/person to whom it will be delivered details not it was having contact number and that’s why it couldn’t be delivered. On contacting Amazon, they refused to pay any expenses because they told me that when the product will be received by me again then again. Now I am waiting for my product to reach me back again so that Amazon could start refund but I don’t know why they gave me such a address and and refused to provide contact.
I hope you will end my painful experience and help me out to get out from all this.
