Text of Complaint by Aditya Bhatia:

Hi, I am a very old customer of Vodafone and have never missed paying my bill. I received a very high bill for May’19 which was mistakenly triggered. Due to loss of my job, I requested Vodafone on 5th June’19 for one time courtesy adjustment by sending on email as I was unable to pay.

In the past, I had never asked for this kind of adjustment ever. I got a confirmation email from Vodafone on 6th June’19 stating amount of Rs 708 will be reversed on my account and it would reflect in 48 hours on my account. Till today i.e. 09th June’19 I did not receive any reversal credit on my account.

So today I again wrote email to Vodafone asking for reason. After some time, a lady called from Vodafone and said the amount can not be reversed. When I have got a written confirmation from Vodafone that I would get a reversal of Rs 708, and after 2 days they refuse their own commitment, is this some kind of joke?

Is this way the Vodafone company works? Please look into the matter to resolve. Somehow, the screenshots of emails are not getting updated here. But I can produce written confirmation emails if asked. Thanks!
