Dear Consumer Complaints Court,
I am submitting this complaint regarding my Disney+ Hotstar premium subscription. My premium plan was originally linked with BharatFiber, which provided access to Hollywood content and multiple device logins. However, after a recent Jio recharge, my premium subscription was overridden by a complimentary mobile-only plan that I did not request.
This change has caused me to lose 15 days of premium subscription benefits and has downgraded my access significantly. Despite reaching out to Jio customer care multiple times, I have not received proper assistance. Calls were disconnected mid-conversation without resolution. Similarly, Hotstar support has failed to provide a satisfactory response, repeatedly directing me back to Jio without offering any concrete help.
I kindly request the Consumer Complaints Court to intervene in this matter and direct Jio and Hotstar to restore my original premium subscription and cancel the unwanted complimentary plan. I did not opt for this plan, and it has negatively impacted my viewing experience. The poor handling of my case by both Jio and Hotstar helpdesks has further added to my frustration.
