Text of Complaint by Jasmin:

Subject: Complaint against Flipkart regarding order cancellation and refund issues

Order ID: OD430750835128656100

Product Details:
– Product: Nothing Phone (2a) 5G (White, 128 GB)
– Seller: Clostail
– Selling Price: ₹25,999
– Extra Discounts:
– ₹2,000 off as special price
– ₹2,000 off on HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Card transactions
– ₹1,000 off using a third-party purchased voucher
– Secured Packaging Fee: ₹59
– Total Amount Paid: ₹21,058

Timeline of Events:
1. Order placed on 17-03-2024.
2. Order canceled on 23rd March 2024 at 11:00 PM.
3. Flipkart informed that the cancellation was due to the seller.
4. Courier partner claimed the order was rejected by me, which is not feasible as the order was not out for delivery and had not reached me.

Complaint Details:
1. Order canceled without consultation or consent from the customer.
2. Inconsistencies in the reasons provided for cancellation – Flipkart claims it was canceled by the seller, while the courier partner alleges it was rejected by me.
3. Customer service representatives provided conflicting information regarding the cancellation, refund, and voucher usage.
4. Spoke to Flipkart’s customer service five times to address the issue. During these conversations:
– First call: Informed by an executive that the order was returned due to damage at the courier partner.
– Second call: Informed by another executive that the seller canceled the order. Requested to speak to a senior, who offered a ₹500 gift voucher for reordering within ten days and assured restoration of the ₹1,000 voucher after 24 hours.
– Third call: Informed that the ₹1,000 voucher cannot be availed again.
– Fourth call: Informed that an opportunity to avail the voucher will be available after the 29th.
– Fifth call: Told that the order value was ₹21,058, so no ₹1,000 voucher refund was applicable.

5. Unable to use the ₹1,000 voucher again despite assurances from Flipkart.
6. Received a call from Flipkart’s delay in delivery team on 25th March 2024, indicating further confusion and lack of coordination within Flipkart’s customer service.
7. Product is currently out of stock on Flipkart as of 25-03-2024.

Resolution Sought:
1. Refund of the full amount paid for the order.
2. Restoration of the ₹1,000 voucher for future use.
3. Clarification and consistency in communication regarding order status and resolution.
4. Compensation of ₹3,000 for any inconvenience caused.
5. Mental distress caused due to Flipkart’s handling of the situation.

We request the Consumer Court to intervene and facilitate a fair resolution to this matter.
