Placed the order at 2am, the delivery partner calls at 3am and asks me to cancel the order with the reason being “the resturant is not open”. I contacted chat support and they told me the same thing which was a lie as I spoke to a person from the resturant (on the number which was provided in the app after order) he confirmed that my order is ready and the delivery partner hasn’t arrived yet to pick it up! When I asked the chat support with whom he has confirmed if the resturant was really closed, he cancelled my order and refunded the amount. It was 4am ans still hungry. I even got an automated call from swiggy which they usually do if the food is being delayed. My point it is I’m the one who’s suffring because of the swiggy staff’s miscommunication. They all they did was to apologize for the issue.
