Blinkit App’s Item Description has wrong misleading information leading to wrong purchase. No return/refund

Text of Complaint by Nikhil Rao:

1. I saw the item C-Konnect: Type-C/USB/HDMI Multiport Adapter on Blinkit, read the description and made the order.
2.The description clearly said, for type C device ( instead of type C Thunderbolt device as mentioned on the package)
3. The order was delivered and the agent left instantly after handing over the bag, which is a standard practice. All issues are expected to be resolved over the chat platform with the customer service agent.
4. I went thru the items of my order to check quality and quantity. This includes the item in question whose packaging box clearly says type C Thunderbolt port as a minimum device requirement.
5. I went back to the item’s description page on the Blinkit app, reconfirmed that I was misled by the wrong information therein, went thru the return policy terms and conditions and thereby raised a return request immediately while keeping the package intact.
6. I even offered to drive to the Blinkit hub nearest to my residence at my own expense in order to save the company from the expense of pickup.
7. I also offered to accept credit in place of refund to the original mode of payment which can be used for future orders.
8. My requests were denied by the customer service agent at the app’s chat platform even though i have raised a return request well within 24hrs and the package is intact as per their policy.
9. My requests were also unilaterally refused by the binkit team over email saying that I have made the mistake of ordering the wrong item.
10. I requested for the company’s escalation matrix along with the respective contact details and the identities of the Blinkit Customer Care team who were directly involved in this matter. Not provided.
11. I was repeatedly asked by their team to speak over the phone which I have reasonably refused as I wish to have every correspondence in this matter documented.
12. I have been deliberately trapped in an exitless loop by a few Blinkit team members and am stuck with a useless incompatible product and a wasted expenditure of my hard earned money.
13. I have had sleepless nights, mental stress and heart palpitations thinking about the ease in which Blinkit has cheated and taunted a regular customer repeatedly and arrogantly does not care about a citizen who is abiding by the guidelines provided by the same company.
