Airtel Charged for fake international call charges from Mar 2023 to May 2023 which we didnt make

Text of Complaint by Suraj Dixit:

The Mobile Sim of Airtel is used by by dad who is 75 years old, and I’m paying the bills, the earlier the monthly charges shoot up in Mar 2023, I realised it could be something valid and I didnt check the bill details and just paid it, thinking next month it will be fine. But this continued till May, May month the bill generated on 24th may is too high i.e 2112, where it should be 883 rs only
This raised my eyebrows to check all the previous bills and found many charges for international calls are added to all the bills. My Dad don’t have any connections internationally and even we don’t have any relatives linving outside India. My Dad confirmed these calls are not made by him also I personally checked the phone.
After raising the complaint to airtel to do some investigation about this, they denied reversal mentioning the charges are valid. Customer care are being negligent to accept the fact as they see the bill has phone numbers tagged to the charges. I believe airtel sim dont have any security and privacy.
