Text of Complaint by Deepanshu Shakargaye:

Recently i have ordered one dish from a well known restaurant in my locality through Zomato. But to my surprise the order was delivered to me in a non saleable condition i.e it was flooded with the excessive oil which i dared to eat 2 or 3 bites and it has already caused me gastric problem. I made a return or replacement request to Zomato to which they declined stating that we re sorry we couldn’t place a replacement or return or refund in this case, treat it as exception this time, we assure you best service next time etc. Etc ( to sum up they showed me their laidback attitude as usual and declined any remedy)
My contentions against zomato is
1) Zomato is a failed model in my city since zomato has entered into the local market in my area restaurant has started deploying their services with deterioration in food quality, compromise in food quantity (since they are not personally interactive with customers and are connected through a middle man zomato in this case to get food delivered, they re least concerned about the goodwill or customer’s tantrum since customer is not sitting on their head.
2.) Each time an issue is address zomato take this plea that it is a delivery agent and not interfere with the restaurant preparing food (but atleast zomato can ensure to provide healthy and hygienic food by checking minimum standard are followed by the restaurant or not.
Restaurant cant give anything and everything in the name delivery and zomato in good faith without knowing that minimum standard is fulfilled delivers the food. Zomato is obliged to check certain requirements are fulfilled or not before delivery it is their abundant duty since customer is ordering through zomato and is relying upon the feedbacks of customers about the restaurant
3.) Just to check whether i m on the right side to fight for i m sharing a photo depicting the delivery made to me where half of the container is filled with the oil and instead repeatedly mentioning in the instructions to not provide with excessive oil they have failed to follow that, and zomato should be held liable because it has not checked whether restaurant has matched with the minimum standard or not.
I guess every reasonable person would agree with me that this food is surely not consumable.
