I had ordered food from a restaurant through Zomato. Margarita pizza and a chicken shawarma. Their delivery boy delivered it late as he was not allowed to enter the premises as he was carrying somebody else s ID. I had to go 1.5 km away to fetch the order from him. Food was cold . Margarita pizza had excessive chillies which is not as per the recy. When Zomato connected call to restaurant owner he says that they make it like that only. It is their way of preparation. If it’s not margarita then why named margarita just to fool the customers. Pizza had so much spicy pizza sauce and chilly flakes on it that it was to be thrown only. Zomato could not resolve and Zomato assistant say it’s sorry but every restaurant has their own way of preparation.
I lost my money and could not get the food to eat and my child suffered and cried after having single bite of that pizza which was later on thrown.
Neither Zomato took responsibility of poor delivery nor for poor quality.
