On 23 September ordered food but never received my order because delivery guy marked it delivered by sitting somewhere else. I called him but phone was off and no support from zomato team too. When I contacted delivery guy next morning again delivery guy told me he has handed over has ID to someone else to deliver the food, and his friend who has the ID is delivering the food is unknown guy who is not even checked by the company.
Importantly, in the name and ID of delivery guy someone else coming over to our place. Taking the money first and not delivering the food but marking it delivered.
Not tolerable at all.
As it’s a human safety and security issue as well. How can someone else deliver food on someone else ID issued without knowing the background verification check. It can be a theif, or can harm my family too, as under someone else ID and details.
