  • My account is blocked for online ordering and is saying it is due to suspicious activity but i haven’t done anything but its ok if not zomato i will use swiggy they will be lossed not me but my problem is i cannot use the app like viewing a restaurant using gold etc and customer care is also not responding to it . my gold account is linked with it so i want you to resolve this so that i can use my gold or you either unblock my account or transfer my gold with another account.

  1. Dear Zomato,

    Today when i was going to log in I found out that you have locked out my profile due to some so called suspicious activity. First of all let me tell you this that I am one of the oldest customer of your app and I always use Zomato only to order food and not other apps. But I have committed a mistake..The mistake of trying to improve your service so that zomato always stays ahead of its competitors that is why I have always tried to give feedback about every order. Recently for some days I found that the food that you have delivered were of below average quality. Most of the time the order was delivered late, the food was of bad taste and cold and below standard packing. None of the complaints that I gave were fake and I tried my best to give proofs to customer support whenever possible. I found an insect in my food once and I could have take that issue to social networking sites that could have affected your business but I didn’t do that because personally I am attached to zomato as I am using it from the time when it was launched. If you feel that I have complained for some free credits then let me remind you that I am a gold member of Zomato. I earn a lot and I don’t have to lie to get some free credits. I guess you should have closed this credit giving facility as you don’t trust your own customers and you don’t have the required resources that will help you to cross check the customer’s complaints.
    I have referred your app to so many of my friends and family members for so many years and yet at the end of the day I got this behaviour from you i.e profile locked out due to suspicious activity. This is how you would retain your customers?
    Another activity that you may have founded suspicious is that same account is being used by two users? So what? where it was written that only one person can use one profile. Me and my friend is paying you money. We are not getting free food by using same profile. And if its wrong then you could have warned me before locking my profile
    Its a request from my side to go through my mail properly, cross check it and then if you don’t find my account “suspicious” anymore then please unlock it asap because I am a working person and food delivery app plays an important role in the life of people like us, My gold membership will be wasted and also I don’t want to shift to other apps because of my great relationship with zomato for so many years.

    1. Multiple accounts linked to my profile: I have 2 mailID’s (office mail id and personal mail id) and only one mobile number, so obviously I will link both to the same numbers to order from office and home.
    2. Bad quality of food complaint: I have never ever complaint anything like this.
    Its a request from my side to go through my mail properly, cross check it and then if you don’t find my account “suspicious” anymore then please unlock it asap because I am a working person and food delivery app plays an important role in the life of people like us and also I want to use Zomato Gold.

    MY ACCOUNT is also locked telling suspecious activity and they are not ready to reactivate.

    O asked for their logs on how and when this happened . no response yet
