One of the Chief Tickets Inspector(TTE) R.Boomninathan (ID No: 1504512649) behaves rudely and is annoying to us. He was fined Rs.420/-, and the reason is differment(D/F).
Extremely Very disappointed with this train journey. We have reserved a ticket.

Yesterday (23/06/2023), we were travelling on the Vaigai Express(12635) and boarded from Villupuram.
We have booked a ticket from Ariyalur to Madurai with PNR No: 4562697545. This is Chair car (CC) ticket seat no 61 and 62.
We have an unreserved ticket from Villupuram to Ariyalur. Open ticket UTS #: C1J3DJL190.
We have a kid, and he was sleeping from villupuram. We both travelled in a D1 coach, and we notified the D1 coach TTE.
He was allocated to travel D1 88 seats with fare amount 15/-.

Around 17:35(05.35 PM IST) We entered the CC Coach before the train arrived at Ariyalur Station. The train is also delayed by 10 minutes.
R.Boomninathan TTE is not present in C1 and C2 coaches as we enter C2 coach. If he had been present, we would have talked to him before entering the C2 coach and obtaining permission.
I told my wife, “You and kid will stay here, and I’ll get our travel ludage from D1 coach.” R.Boomninathan TTE entered C2 coach after I had departed to acquire travel lauge from D1 coach, and he requested the wife, “Show me your train ticket.” She stated that the travel ticket is in my husband’s possession and that he is going to get travel lauge from the D1 coach. I’ll show the travel ticket when he gets back.

Meanwhile, my wife stated that we have reserved a ticket from Ariyalur to Madurai (Chair car) and an unreserved ticket from Villupuram to Ariyalur. We entered the C1 coach because the train stopping period at Ariyalur is 1 minute. R. Boomninathan TTE didn’t tell my wife at that same moment, “If you travel like this, I put fine or Move from Chair car and come back train arrive at Ariyalur.” If he says something like this, my wife and kid will definitely move from there.

I have entered the C2 coach with huge travel luggage after the train arrived at Ariyalur. R. Boomninathan TTE comes to me and says, “Show me your train ticket.” I have shown an unreserved ticket and a reserved ticket. He said your wife was travelling without a ticket at all. By the way, his talking is also not in a good way. I can’t write here.

As stated by R.Boomninathan, I never say this to a passenger (If you travel like this, I put a fine or Move from Chair car and come back train arrive at Ariyalur). Therefore, He intensely needed to fine or charge us on purpose. I talked with R.Boomninathan for almost 30 minutes with my wife, explaining everything, he wasn’t paying attention to us when we were talking. He said, “If you don’t immediately pay the fine amount, I’ll pursue another course of action”.

Note:: My wife is a Tamil Nadu Revenue Department Employee. She also requested it, by the way. Intailly, R. Boomninathan TTE said to pay the Rs. 1510/- fee we are explaining, and sometime late he said one passenger fine amount Rs.755/- should pay. Later, we drained our energy and explained whole things, Atlast he fined Rs.420/-, and the Reason is differment(D/F). Exactly, don’t know what is differment, and ask him what is differment. He is not explaining at all.

Could someone please explain what differment is? Is R.Boomninathan fining us correctly?

1. He should charge/fine from Virudhachalam(VRI) Railway station to Ariyalur (ALU) Railway station because Virudhachalam Railway station in between Villupuram Railway Junction to Ariyalur Railway station and Around 17:35(05.35 PM IST) We entered the CC Coach before the train arrived at Ariyalur Railway Station. This train arrived at Virudhachalam(VRI) Railway station by 16:55 (4.55 PM IST).
2. He charged both of us. Don’t know why he charged both of us. I entered the C2 coach after the train arrived at Ariyalur Railway Station.

I have attached a train ticket copy, an unreserved ticket copy, and an excess fare ticket copy. Please have a look and Please provide a better solution.
